the integration into the right-click menu and custom actions are
great.  i meant that using a command-line tool (wodim) is bad from a
usability standpoint.  there needs to be at least a minimal gui where
the user is prompted for the burning device, then is shown a progress
bar as it burns.

yes, brasero set up the thunar custom action itself when it was
installed -- very easy and straightforward for the user.

ok, i didn't realize brasero was a gnome-heavy app.  could a simple
(very basic) cd writer gui be quickly written using something like
libburn (http://icculus.org/burn/) and gtk only?
