Package: xfce4-battery-plugin
Version: 0.5.0-7
Severity: normal

The status "Charging from AC" is reported on my ThinkPad if the battery is
inserted, but not charged.

This seems to be the culprit:

    if(acline) {
        char *t=(charge<99.9)?_("(Charging from AC)"):_("(AC on-line)");

I have a ThinkPad and the battery charger is configured to only charge if
the battery goes below 20%. IMHO there should be a more reliable check for
the battery status. In sysfs, the battery is reported as Full, unless it is
really charged:

$ cat /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/status
Full

Tino
