I sure can't reproduce this, on any of my box. Could you provide a
valgrind log (see http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2427#c41 for
instructions, and remember to install all -dbg packages and rebuild
xfce4-mixer with debugging symbols).
