That xfburn bug you dug up has nothing to do with your problem, it's a
very outdated report that I'm going to close right now.

Xfburn btw. does work fine now in that situation, and it will
automatically unmount the media if HAL is present (and I assume
without HAL thunar probably doesn't do automounting).

So possibly this is a bug you should file against brasero?

The Thunar author has mentioned it several times that he doesn't think
it makes much sense to present the unmount option to the user for
removable media, so that's unlikely to change anyways.
