I'm not quite sure what's the point. The Xfce environment installed for
Squeeze only ships a default, basic desktop environment, including the
usually useful applications on top of Xfce. This means an office suite,
a browser and a media player, but then we expect our users to select
themselves the tools fitting their needs.

Xfce point is not to provide everything and the kitchen's sink (GNOME
and KDE are more about providing a *full* DE), but rather to be modular.
There are some tools which are expected by an user to be installed, but
I don't think a calc is really part of that.
