yes it is (udev also creates the usual aliases I use for burning with
cdrskin):

as for xsession-errors:

I also made a try with the device already plugged at boot but same
result: xfburn 0.4.3-4 does not detect it.

Could it be related with usb (since here the burner on S-ATA is
detected) ?
