If I kill gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor, the SDHC card disappears from Thunar, and
cannot be unmounted from the sidebar. If I kill only gvfsd, it is relaunched
after a few seconds. So that doesn't help much....

However, I suppose I should test ejecting the card from the desktop icon,
which seems to use gvfs too. Should I try Nautilus in GNOME?
