What graphic card and driver are you using? I assume you're using xfwm4
as window manager?

There's 0.4.8 in unstable, but as I never experienced something like
that, I'm not sure it's linked. Might be related to the graphics
drivers. I'm reassigning to xfce4-terminal but I don't think the problem
lies there.
