Package: lightdm
Version: 0.9.2-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Using XFCE 4.8 in testing with lightdm. Sometimes after login, lightdm
takes an enormous amount of time to bring up the session (more than a
minute). While normally it takes a few seconds. This behavior happens
about 1 in 5 logins (after rebooting), but it's a bit difficult to reproduce.
Uninstalling lightdm and just running 'startx' from console after
logging is always fast and reliable.
I'm attaching the lightdm.log for a normal session and an abnormally
long one. They are very similar, but note the timestamp differences on the
left.
Let me know what other sort of information you need to debug this weird issue.
Andres
