Right, this is the preferred way, altough I was not able to do so. It seems that
autoreconf doesn't work smoothly on xfconf automake files.
Feel free to solve it with dh-autoreconf.

I just tried to find this explaination at [1], but no luck. Do you mind providing
me the link where you explained why this is low priority?

I understand that ppc64el is not a official architecture for now, but, we are
trying to add it as an official architecture for Jessie.
