My current stance is that I'm not overly interested in working on this
myself, but if someone is interested I won't block it (and bonus points
for doing this directly upstream).

Also, this is something which needs to be manually enabled, not done by
default, and it has to be secure: no privilege escalation in the setup
scripts or something.
