My name is Chris Desjardins and I've been a Debian user since 2004 and I finally think it is time that I start helping. I primarily run XFCE and would be most interested in helping the XFCE team. My technical skills are limited, however I've rolled my own Debian packages when I've needed to for a while now. I would be interested in helping out with all aspects especially learning to package properly. My hopes are that if I contribute here and it's worthwhile to the project, the XFCE team, and myself that I might be interested in becoming a DD. I sure know it would be a thousand times more difficult to work on my PhD without Debian developers.<br>
