Okay, let's start with (a) then. I've submitted the necessary ITPs (you
should have received a copy, feel free to suggest changes in the
proposed descriptions), and I'll prepare and upload the packages in the
following days.

The packages will be maintained in Bazaar branches in:

  http://bzr.debian.org/pkg-xiph/uriparser
  http://bzr.debian.org/pkg-xiph/libspiff

(Not created yet.)

So, uhm, start by reading stuff and preparing packages, and mail
430543 at bugs.debian.org and mlt at debian.org when you're ready. I may or
may not be able to review the packages myself at the time.
