I didn't test the build for the latest upstream version. I simply
imported it using git-import-orig. What this does is the following: it
checkouts the upstream branch, unpacks the tarball and commit the new
upstream version to this branch. Then, it checkouts the master (debian
package) branch and merges upstream branch with it.

If you do git-log, you will see the following commits: imported upstream
version; merge commit upstream/xxxx; new upstream version. This last one
was done by me to update the changelog and nothing else.

So, if the new upstream version does not have a manpage, we should
update debian/libgsasl7-dev.install before the upload.

We should opt for some convention for the Maintainer/Uploaders field.
Some teams use the mailing list address as the Maintainer field. Others
use a person as the maintainer. While we decide about that, keep me as
the maintainer and add yourself as an Uploader.
