In fact, I've just realized I've made big changes to iksemel, which I
intend to put under maintenance by the group. But I have also take a
good look at 1.1 some time ago, and I didn't find any big changes, not
even symbol changes, that would justify lots of changes in the
packaging, besides importing the upstream itself.

I've checked your changes and I am OK that you upload that, except for
one thing that I think we'd better do: merge the testing branch
changelog. Back in October, when it was reported a RC bug to the
package, I backported the maintainer/upload commit to 0.2.26-1, fixed
the bug and asked for unblocking 0.2.26-2.

And I think it would be good to rename (or copy) the branch to lenny,
instead of testing. If we keep a testing branch, it would follow master
for now, so I think there's not much of a sense in keeping the name,
really.

I will send another message as soon as I do the merge.

I've had some problem with a bug in iksemel that apperead right before I
was almost ready for an upload. When I thought I had a fix, I had a
followup by another person, saying the fix was not OK and I didn't have
the time to take a closer look. I may do it today. But if anybody wanna
take a look, it is
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=511808.

And my git archive is at
git://git.debian.org/users/cascardo-guest/iksemel.git, but it is not
definitive yet. So be ready for forced updates, history rewriting and
stuff like that. :-D

Regards,
Cascardo.
