OK. My investigation is done. GSASL includes library symbol versioning
since version 1.1. This is even considering as beneficial for Debian.
And it is, if we use the symbols file, it is easier just including
wildcards and let the library symbol versioning do the work for us.
Since I trust Josefsson to do the right thing in respect to library
maintenance, I'd say our job in maintaining this symbols file would be
rather easier with the libsymver.

Since I am leaving right now for a work, no package upload will be done
before the next 6 hours. As soon as I do it, I will ask the maintainers
of packages depending on libgsasl and built with version 1.1 to do a
rebuild. Better, I will ask the release team to schedule a rebuild of
all packages depending on it.

Cascardo.
