<div dir="ltr">Hello,<br>My name is Veselin Baliyski and I am 23 years old. I would
like to work on "ZFS on Linux integration". I'm in vacation during the
summer and I'm not much involved with the university, so participating
in GSoC 2013 would be great for me.<br>
I think I have appropriate profile for this project.<br><br>About my experience:<br>I've worked as a system administrator for 3 years.<br>I've
administrated Debian servers on physical and virtual machines. I've
written lots of scripts for monitoring services, scheduled backups and
log analization.<br>
I have experience with zfs. I administrated couple of storages based on
FreeNAS so I am familiar with FreeBSD. The network link to them was over
LACP link aggregation. I used NFS, Samba, iSCSI daemons for storage
accessibility. <br>
I use FreeBSD as primary gateways and firewalls.<br>I have experience
with Debian package system (I administrated VOIP systems, based on
FreeSWITCH and built a Debian package using sbuild in chroot, because
there isn't such package in Debian repositories).<br>
I have good experience with bash, perl and C. Recently I have written an
incremental backup system for backuping and restoring virtual servers
installed on LVM volumes.<br><br><br><br><br>I would like to know whether I am appropriate candidate for this project.<br>
<br><br>Best Regards,<br>Veselin</div>
