:-)   I _am_ using zope with a kernel 2.6, and it is serving my web pages

but, yes, we noted the problem:=20
I had the idea that there was a problem with child and signals;
I was getting those  "OSError: [Errno 10] No child processes";
so I simply patched 'zopectl' in Debian  zope2.7  to work around it:
 it  ignores the error and continues nonetheless, and all works ok

in next version, I will instead use the correct patch
