[Pkg-zope-developers] RFH: zope-common, experimental packages, test needed

Hi folks,
  as you already know I'm working to put back in Debian the work of
Matthias Klose for Ubuntu Zope packages.=20

  My first *very experimental* packages [1] are ready to be tested, and
now I need a bit of help to test them. As already said, they are very
experimental so please don't blame me if they corrupt existing zope
installations, you are warned. With these packages, I was able to=20
install a plone site and start zope2.7. but I haven't enough time yet
to test deeply all the products.

  The main news are:

  * The long-waited zope-common package, which cares about zope user and
    zope restart.

  * All the zope products are packaged using dh_installzope from dh-zope
    package.

  * There is no mkzope2.7instance, you can use dzhandle instead:
    dzhandle --zope-version=3D2.7 make-instance myinstance

  * Pre-packaged instances (actually zope2.7-sandbox and plone-site).
    The easiest test would be just:
    # apt-get install plone-site

  A lot of work has still to be done, I know, but we are ready to start
playing with these packages. Just put the following lines in your
/etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://www.kobold.it/plone/ ./
deb-src http://www.kobold.it/plone/ ./

I hope to hear some feedbacks soon, especially from Andrea Mennucci.
