[Pkg-zope-developers] dzhandle does not know any instance

Package: zope-common
Version: 0.5.13

Hi,

I'm not sure whether this problem occured since my last update to latest
testing but I had to reboot my system this morning after an apt-get upgrade
for an unrelated reason and zope failed to start. Having a look into
/etc/init.d/zope2.7 I noticed that

     dzhandle -z 2.7 zopectl default
     dzhandle zopectl: unknown instance `default'

causes the problem. I think my zope is running on this machine before
dzhandle was part of the zope-common package. I did not fiddled around
with any configuration file - just used the plain defaults while creating
an instance named "default" after the first installation of the zope2.7
package (in the beginning of this year).

Before I file a serious bug I just want to discuss the issue here. Find
the information reportbug generates on the bottom of this mail.

Did I miss anything?

Kind regards

          Andreas.
