So, not for zope.

For zope2.8
wheat:/var/lib/zope2.8# ls instance/plone-site/log
README.txt  Z2.log  Z2.log.1  event.log  event.log.1  event.log.2.gz  event.log.3.gz  event.log.4.gz
zope2.8/instance/plone-site has no *.log files, just the log
directory.

You're welcome.  I've run into some problems in the past that had more
to do with the cron jobs or the logrotate program, so I'm not sure
this has anything to do with zope.  However, I'm not getting errors
for any other packages.
