Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's along the lines of the following:

The probably wrong idea that there keep coming new zope versions and
zope versions being dropped without much communication nor prompt action
to fix RC bugs because of that by the Zope Team itself.

Sorry again if you take it as an attack of some sort, though I would
like a better communication (preferably on d-release) about these kind
of transitions and a rationale to have all these versions of zope...

Will these zope2.x stay?

That will hopefully be solved once and for all (or at least a long time
:-)) by the ongoing python transition.
