The problem with Zwiki is that it never transitioned to the new zope
policy, and the maintainer is MIA. If nobody is willing to adopt it, I'll
do it myself and I'll take over the package in a few days uploading the new

The main effort of the team is about the Zope servers (actually 2.9, 2.10
and zoep3) and Plone. Ensuring that all the zope products work is a duty of
every single maintainer (and co-maintainers) for that package. The problem
is that some old packages (like zope-cmfforum, zope-quotafolder and
zope-zwiki) haven't received enough attention as they should have but this
is not the team as a whole is responsible but the single maintainer is.

This is not really true: it depends on your target products. Plone works
nicely, and so other products. The products which are unmaintained are the
minority, but I agree with you that something needs to be done.
