Do you mean that also xbel-utils will stop working in unstable Debian
and later on testing and stable, too?

After downgrading umpteen packages I was able to install xbel-utils back.

I swithced my configs to unstable (as seen in that file
000README.txt). Then I gave commands "aptitude update" and "aptitude -Z -V
-f -D -v -v -v -v -v --without-recommends dist-upgrade". This is what
happened then:
