Thanks, so I guess that "\\f[BI]" tags are fine. Do you consider
applying this patch in an upcoming release of po4a ? If so, it could be
possible to work on schroot manual pages translations before Squeeze freeze.

Thanks a lot, I will include such modification in a patch for #588962
and ask for similar changes into other manual pages.
