Hi,

It seems like there is plenty of information available on this issue,
and there is a tested patch that ubuntu has been using, from here:
https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?26064

This seems like a valid candidate for a stable point release update,
which as far as I can tell, is planned this weekend. Any chance this
could be fixed?
