Hi Brendan,

First of all, thanks a lot for this patch. It is really cool to see that
Google is going the way of cloud-init, and I very much welcome such kind
of unification. We will definitively include it in our Debian package.

Did you forward this file to the cloud-init upstream author? That is,
Scott Moser, at Canonical / Ubuntu? I've CC-ed him, hoping that he can
catch the file from the Debian BTS, and include it in his upstream
source code.
