Sorry about the lack of response and the brusqeness of my original
report, but I didn't see a copy of your request for info for some
reason.

The problem was mainly lack of documentation I think. The entries member
isn't mentioned in the pydoc strings, and what help there is is very
vague. Now I've realised it's a pure python module I've been able to
check the source and see what inputs it expects as well as find the
entries member.

Is it better to use "localhost.localdomain" or socket.gethostname() for
the address?
