First of all, thank you Sandro for taking good care about networkx in Debian.

I just wanted to drop in this bugreport to mention that 1.4.0 is breaking API 
http://networkx.lanl.gov/reference/api_1.4.html
and it will be needed for perspective new package (ITP #565431).
