Thanks, Frederic.  I'll give that a try.

It's interesting, though, that the download window in FireFox still
shows that the file it's currently downloading is 2,097.2 M, and not the
2,56695... M size of yours.

Try the following command in the directory where is your .iso :

rsync -v rsync://quantian.fhcrc.org/quantian/Quantian_0.7.9.1.iso .
