[Quantian-general] bootfrom fails

I think this is a Knoppix problem, but maybe someone here can help.

I checked the Knoppix forum, and the question has been asked several 
times, but no answer given.

I can boot from my new DVD almost fine (doesn't yet find my home and 
myconfig on USB flash stick ... I'll look at that later)

I put the iso on c:\ and tried bootfrom=/dev/hda1/quantian.iso.    This 
worked fine for the previous Quantian.

The new one fails, falling back to install from the DVD:

Found additional KNOPPIX compressed at /cdrom/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX2.

is in use
umount: Device or resource busy
insmod: error inserting 'modules/cloop.ko': -1 File exists

ideas?

also, ideas on where to ask this on a Knoppix forum so that it would get 
the attention of someone who can help?
I'm considering a Poor Man's Install  
(http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Win_Partition), but ...  well, bootfrom 
should work, right?
