No, it's not.

| it time out. I haven't done much with Knoppix 4.0.2 yet; I use Knoppix 
| as a rescue CD at work and 3.6 boots just fine on all of our systems. :)

I tend to test this by booting directly off the KNOPPIX files inside the iso
(using a method described in one of the HOWTOs) so I didn't see this.
