No idea. I have not removed a single file from Knoppix 4.0.2 (but note that
I started from the cdrom version) and I only changed the terminal server
scripts as well as the openMosix aspects --- so the config you need should be
unaltered.  But as I have no such modem, I cannot be of any help.  If you
manage to debug this, please report back so that we can fix this for a future
release.
