[Quantian-general] Quantian and opencv?

Hi all,

I'm doing research in directed micro-assembly with computer vision integration, and Quantian looks like it might make a nice platform for me to develop on. My question is, how difficult would it be to integrate the opencv libraries into the live CD? I believe there's  a debian package for opencv . . . though I think it may be somewhat out of date. I don't really have any experience managing packages or integrating them into live CD's, but I'd be happy to take a shot at it if it's something other people might also find useful.
