| One suggestion I have for the version is mdb tools. This is
| a piece of software that lets one view access databases, do
| simple data base selections, produce a schema so that the
| database can be converted to mysql, and export to various
| formats. Harvey got it working on my quantian system and I
| find it useful since most of my clients send me access
| databases and I don't like to use MS windows.
Looks like we have'em already in Debian:
edd at basebud:~/mail$ apt-cache search mdbtools
libmdbtools - mdbtools libraries
mdbtools - JET / MS Access database (MDB) tools
mdbtools-dev - mdbtools development files
mdbtools-gmdb - JET / MS Access database (MDB) file viewer
openoffice.org-base - OpenOffice.org office suite - database
so that should be straightforward. Added to todo.{wml,html}.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers, Dirk
