You may have burned a coaster. I have done so too with k3b. There is
difference between creating a data dvd and a bootable one.
If someone know a really good tutorial I'd be happy to link too.

| Bug in the boot process somewhere. Try
| knoppix lang=en
| at the boot prompt. At least, that's what worked for me.
Good point, but that requires the boot process to start so that you get that
prompt (at which point you have to make up for missing default, sorry)
whereas Jose Luis didn't even get the beginning of the boot process. I
suspect he wrote a data dvd.
