[Quantian-general] KDE desktop failure

The boot from DVD for quantian worked pretty good.
So since I still had the iso. file on the hard drive
I decided to try "Howto boot Quantian from a Windows
Partition" Windows XP pro 512mb memory.

This works to a certain extent. The kdedesktop
fails, a sigenv number 11 error message. I tried it
twice--it never loads, and not that it loads and
it fails if I try to do something. Other things
like Firefox and dsl work. But not OpenOffice.
