Easy enough to sail around, but I never found a way to fix it. Also doesn't
seem to get triggered by all boot methods -- and it particular not by the
ones I was/am using most for testing, the vmware player. 

Anyway, glad you got it sorted out.  Hopefully the next release won't be
bitten by this.
