Hm, without additional information I'd suspect a bad dvd. Also,
the .iso could have become correupted while downloading. I'd start with
checking the md5sum of the .iso file, then run the checksum tools directly
from the boot prompt (see the cheatcodes docs, have forgotten the name of
this option).  If both are fine, then I'd start examining the computer and
maybe try on a different machine.
