[Quantian-general] network card configuration

I've experienced a similar situation in the past when I've compiled the
drivers with one kernel source and tried to insert the module in another
distro with a diferent kernel version. I did this some time ago because I
had sever problems making different distros to recognize my Lan card, a
Marvell Yukon.
Did you compile it in Quantian, or in another distro, namely the one you
have in your HD, if not the same?

Regards.
Joao
