[Quantian-general] Intel 9xx and 64 bits

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to update the Quantian (Knoppix)
kernel to a 64 bits Intel D 940 or even a 32 bits 686 processor?

Has anyone tried this? What happened to the installed programs?
