Fortunately it should be reasonnably easy, as the debian pacakages of
interest for biologists are also tracked in debian-med.

Another source of information could be the debtags. But I did not
understand who can submit new annotations for packages. Maybe through
http://debian.vitavonni.de/packagebrowser/ ?
