| Dear Dirk and quantian developpers,
|
| I would like to advertise the work I am doing on the debian wiki, on the
| debian-science-biology pages. I am establishing a list of software

I am aware of your lists as I've also contributed to the Debian Wiki.

| related to bioinformatics and systems biology, with their licence and
| the status of their packaging (done in debian, available outside
| debian, not done, impossible to package). You may want to take a look at
| it on http://wiki.debian.org/DebianScienceBiology, under the paragraph
| "Summary of existing programs, their licences, and their potential to be
| integrated in Debian". The pages are in alphabetical order ; the one in
| which I have listed most programs is http://wiki.debian.org/DebianSequenceAnalysis

This constitutes a good first step. However, for an actual inclusion in
Quantian, I would need actual packages. So we need to get from step 1 to the
next step of creating these. Volunteers?

Dirk

| This is still work in progress, and I intend to contribute to the
| gathered informations to the debian-med website periodically. Feel free
| to edit the pages or to send me comments.
|
| Best regards,
|

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
