Hi George,

I noticed that too, mentioned it on the quantian list twice (and will CC the
list agaib) and have it listed on the bugs page.

The workaround is simple:
	start konsole
try to ignore for a moment that the colors are all goofy
select a new 'scheme' via settings menu, eg 'linux colors'
	now konsole should behave better
	manual re-run 'kdesktop'
and things should be fine. It's a nuisance, but not a show stopper.

Debugging help would be welcome.

I don't understand. What do you mean by option? The script
'knopppix-installer' is still there, and so is its alias / link
'knx2hd'. That's all I ever used.

Patches welcome. If you can write a list of mininmal requirements, preferably
with references to the original Knoppix 4.0.2 requirements, I'd be more than
happy to post it.

| I hope this is helpful.

Sure thing. Thanks for the feedback, and your interest in quantian.

Regards, Dirk
