[Quantian-general] root password

I know that this must sound like the stupidest question in a long time, but
I have been looking for the answer for a week now in different places.

What is the root password for Quantian, I can't install it without root
priviledges. I found one reference to "passwd" which failed.

I have tried :
no password
root
admin
password
demo
tux
knoppix
debian
mosix

All to no avail !

Please some one help. I love this distro for many reasons and want to use it
forever!
