[Quantian-general] openMosix not working with first node in cluster

I think I misunderstood your problem at first. So the machine boots kernel
2.5, you see that it is the openMosix-enabled kernel, but it doesn't 'appear
in the oM tools' ?

That second one is correct and needed to boot the oM-enabled 2.4 kernel.

You may have falled into a little bug trap with the initialization /
startup.  As I recall, all will be well if you simply do a (as root)

	/etc/init.d/openmosix stop
	/etc/init.d/openmosix start

and then openMosixview will show it.  On the PXE-booted machines the init
script is correct...
