Much better! At least you are up and running on that machine. 

Just a guess, but it may have failed to bring the primary (or secondary,
eth1) network device up properly which leads to the hanging computer.  Try to
Google around for the particular piece of hardware, it may need different
initialization.  If that hypothesis is correct, and if you knew what was
needed, you could then at least load and initialize the device manually in
Quantian. Once that is done, you should be able to re-request dhcp service
from your server or router and be good to go.

You may have to expand some elbow grease on this for this particular Quantian
version.
