Right. So you always end up offending some people whose favourite application
you just removed.

And while the dvd-sized iso is to large for cdrom, it can still be booted 
-- using an actual cdrom, and the then bootfrom= option
-- from the hard disk using Lilo/Grub 
-- from the hard disk using qemu or vmware player
