[Quantian-general] Detect USB harddisk

Hi,

My USB harddisk isn't being detected when I plug it in and turn it on.

I have found an answer to this problem somewhere online before, but when
I try to use this solution again now, I'm getting an error (I could be
forgetting something important).

I thought that from a root shell, I could type:
modprobe usb-ohci
and Quantian would detect my USB drive, but now when I try this I'm
getting an error:
/lib/modules/2.4.27-om-20040808/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.27-om-20040808/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o:
insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.27-om-20040808/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.27-om-20040808/kernel/drivers/usb/host/usb-ohci.o:
insmod usb-ohci failed
It could be that my memory of how I fixed this last time isn't accurate,
but I'm pretty sure I remember something about usb-ohci!

Thanks in advance,
Dave
