Thanx, Dirk, for the info on S and S-Plus related texts.  I will  definitely 
look into those!
 
Also, you say that R ahd mpi extensions on the QUANTIAN DVD.  Will  these 
work over openMosix or do I have to set up a more traditional mpi  cluster?
 
Wow, I see that this listserv has been a bit quiet for several months  now.  
I hope your QUANTIAN project continues to grow, its really quite a  phenomenal 
accomplishment on your part.  What are your plans for the future  of QUANTIAN 
now that the openMosix project is closed?
